Montenegrin Army Withdraws from INOCHIOS 26 Exercise in Greece
The Montenegrin Army has canceled its participation in the international air exercise INOCHIOS 26 in Greece due to the Defence and Security Council's failure to decide on military unit involvement in international exercises for the year. The Ministry of Defence indicated that this decision limits interoperability with NATO allies and hinders training for complex missions, adversely affecting the VCG's combat readiness and Montenegro's credibility in NATO and other partnerships. Delays in council meetings are also negatively impacting officer promotions and morale, prompting the Ministry to urge Council President Jakov Milatovic to convene a session to maintain operational readiness and the country's international reputation.
