During a visit to Baku, Deputy Prime Minister Ervin Ibrahimović highlighted the Ionian-Adriatic Pipeline as a key project, while both countries aim to advance bilateral relations and support Montenegro's EU accession by 2028. Enhanced air connectivity and mutual investments are seen as vital for fostering economic ties and tourism.

Montenegro is seeking to enhance cooperation with Azerbaijan in the gas and green energy sectors, as stated by Deputy Prime Minister Ervin Ibrahimović during his recent visit to Baku.
