The Ministry of Public Order and Safety in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao facilitated a peaceful resolution of a 'rido' (family feud) in Malabang, Lanao del Sur. The initiative involved coordination with the local government, municipal police, and the Philippine Army's 51st Infantry Battalion.

On December 24, families engaged in the feud participated in a settlement program at the Malabang municipal hall, where they agreed to end their conflict and promote dialogue and ethical leadership. A peace agreement was signed, confirming their commitment to non-violence. This settlement is part of MPOS's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program, aimed at fostering peace in the Bangsamoro region.
