MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH has entered a three-year contract with Cheniere Energy, Inc. for MRO services on LM2500 industrial gas turbines at the Sabine Pass liquefied natural gas facility. Services will be provided at MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg in Ludwigsfelde, Germany, which specializes in LM series IGTs under the MTU Power brand.

The contract aims to increase MTU Power's shop-visit volume by 30% in the coming years. MTU also provides MRO for the LM6000 engine model and manufactures components under the MTU Power brand.
