Mubadala Allocates $170 Billion to US Investments Across Multiple Sectors
Mubadala plans to invest $170 billion, constituting 44% of its portfolio, into various US sectors, including AI and energy. This commitment underscores the UAE's robust investment framework with the US amidst ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.

Mubadala is directing $170 billion, or 44% of its portfolio, towards investments in the United States, focusing on sectors like artificial intelligence, semiconductors, health care, energy, and advanced manufacturing. The sovereign wealth fund has over 80 direct investments in the US, including GlobalFoundries and NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG project.
This strategy aligns with the UAE's $1.4 trillion investment framework with the US, emphasizing long-term capital placement despite geopolitical uncertainties. Additionally, the US upgraded the UAE's export control designation in July, facilitating easier transfer of military and technology assets, reflecting their strategic partnership.
