Multiplast Expands Aerospace and Defense Projects in France with Advanced Composite Manufacturing
Multiplast, a key player in aerospace and defense based in Vannes, France, is expanding its advanced composite manufacturing capabilities, with significant contracts including a drone competing with the American Reaper and a launcher for Isar Aerospace. The company, which aims to create a European equivalent of SpaceX, recently showcased its projects to local officials and is set to deliver floats for Canadairs to Toulouse by late summer. Founded in 1981, Multiplast employs 232 people and generates approximately €30 million in revenue, while also achieving milestones such as developing the world's largest carbon masts through a joint venture.

Multiplast, based in Vannes, Morbihan, is a key player in naval construction and innovation in aerospace, defense, and renewable energy sectors. On December 19, 2025, local officials visited the facility to review ongoing projects.
The company's significant revenue primarily comes from aerospace and defense, including contracts for a drone competing with the American Reaper and a launcher for Isar Aerospace in Germany. Multiplast aims to make a European equivalent of SpaceX.
They are also producing floats for Canadairs, scheduled for delivery in late summer to Toulouse.
