Multiple Energy Agreements to be Signed at India Energy Week in Goa
India Energy Week in Goa will see the signing of multiple significant energy agreements, including a $780 million crude purchase contract between BPCL and Petrobras, and a partnership for LNG sourcing between Oil India and TotalEnergies. Additionally, Shell will collaborate with Bharat PetroResources Ltd on exploration, while Numaligarh Refinery and TotalEnergies will establish a sustainable aviation fuel project. The event, scheduled for January 27-30, will host 17 ministers and over 75,000 delegates, focusing on new energy supplies and international cooperation.

India Energy Week (IEW) in Goa will feature several significant energy deals, including a $780 million crude purchase contract between BPCL and Petrobras. Oil India and TotalEnergies will enter an agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG) sourcing, while Shell and Bharat PetroResources Ltd (BPRL) will collaborate on exploration.
Additionally, Numaligarh Refinery will partner with TotalEnergies to establish a 200,000-tonne-per-annum sustainable aviation fuel project in Odisha. ONGC plans to sign shipping venture agreements with Japan's Mitsui O.S.K.
Lines and South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries. IEW, scheduled for January 27-30, will host 17 ministers from various countries and over 75,000 delegates. Key discussions will include the role of new energy supplies in stabilizing global markets and the importance of cooperation between producers and consumers.
