NAF Chief of Air Staff, Sunday Aneke, noted the unit's importance for intelligence and rapid response operations. The unit is positioned as a strategic base to safeguard vital economic assets. Collaboration between the military and local communities is emphasized for effective security outcomes. The operational readiness of the unit has been affirmed by Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command, AVM Michael Onyebashi.
