Naftogaz Explores Increased U.S. LNG Purchases with American Delegation
Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi announced discussions with an American delegation to expand financial instruments for increasing U.S. LNG purchases. Since last year, Naftogaz has acquired approximately 1 billion cubic meters of American LNG. Koretskyi highlighted the importance of these mechanisms for the energy security of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. The meeting also covered the current gas supply situation and potential collaboration with American companies for gas field development in Ukraine.

Naftogaz is in discussions with an American delegation to enhance financial mechanisms aimed at increasing U.S. LNG purchases. CEO Sergii Koretskyi stated that Naftogaz has already purchased about 1 billion cubic meters of American LNG since last year.
The discussions emphasized the critical nature of these strategies for energy security in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Additionally, the meeting addressed the current state of gas supply, infrastructure damage from Russian strikes, and preparations for the upcoming heating season. The parties also explored potential joint gas field development projects with American firms.
