Naftogaz Group's Commercial Director, Serhiy Fedorenko, announced that natural gas imports in 2025 are expected to reach almost 6 billion cubic meters, essential for the heating season. He highlighted the challenges posed by domestic infrastructure impacts and noted that the company has secured most of its financing needs for gas imports while preparing for operations in early 2026.

Naftogaz aims to diversify its supply sources, focusing on American LNG, with 600 million cubic meters expected by year-end and an additional 300 million cubic meters contracted for Q1 2026. Fedorenko reported approximately 24 attacks on the group's facilities this year, with over 2,000 missiles and drones launched, including a recent incident involving 64 Shahed missiles. The company is also preparing backup equipment for recovery.
