Nathan's Wastesavers Expands Clothing Recycling to 54 Sites in Aberdeenshire
Aberdeenshire Council partners with Nathan's Wastesavers to reintroduce clothing recycling at 54 sites across the region. The initiative follows the Salvation Army's previous removal of textile recycling from these locations. The program aims to reduce waste and environmental impact by promoting the donation and recycling of wearable and damaged textiles.

Aberdeenshire Council and Nathan's Wastesavers have reinstated clothing recycling at 54 council-run sites after the Salvation Army's removal of textile recycling from these locations. The council operates 15 recycling centres and 178 recycling points.
Donations of wearable clothes will be redistributed, while damaged items will be recycled into new products, thus extending their life and minimizing environmental impact. The initiative supports waste reduction efforts and enhances recycling services across Aberdeenshire.
