The Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) has issued a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) for unmanned systems (UxS) capabilities, with submissions for Area of Interest 1 due by January 25, 2026. NSWC aims to enhance the development, procurement, and integration of UxS to support the Joint Force and Special Operations Forces (SOF).

A Firm-Fixed Price contract may be awarded under FAR Part 12, and NSWC may also use non-FAR contracts with both traditional and nontraditional defense contractors. Submissions for Areas of Interest 2 and 3 are due on January 9, April 9, July 9, and October 9, 2026, with evaluations conducted quarterly.
