Navy Reserve Integrates TCCC Program with CeTARS to Enhance Readiness

DEFENSE

The Navy Reserve has integrated its Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program with the Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS). This integration standardizes registration and course completion tracking for approximately 6,800 Reserve medical personnel, enhancing readiness reporting.

All TCCC student scheduling and graduation will now be managed through CeTARS, allowing for more accurate completion metrics and visibility of courses. The new system links course completion data directly into the Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS), ensuring that training records are automatically updated. The initiative, supported by over 80 certified instructors, strengthens the training and readiness of Navy Reserve medical personnel, aligning them with active-duty counterparts for improved trauma care in operational environments.
