The U.S. Navy's Fleet Readiness Center East is set to expand operations at the Global TransPark in Lenoir County, North Carolina, under a 10-year contract that will create over 400 jobs. The project, consisting of 17 acres of hangar space, broke ground in June 2024 with an investment of $400 million.
A $15 million annual contract will commence once the facility is fully operational.
