NCDMB's Nigerian Oil and Gas Park to Launch Q4 2026
The Nigerian Oil and Gas Park Scheme at Emeyal-1 is set to become operational by Q4 2026, aiming to enhance local manufacturing and reduce reliance on imports. The project is anticipated to create over 2000 jobs and stimulate economic growth within the region.

The Nigerian Oil and Gas Park Scheme (NOGaPS) in Bayelsa State will be operational by the fourth quarter of 2026. A 2.5-megawatt Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) power plant is to be installed to support this initiative.
Key infrastructure is being developed, including manufacturing shop floors, a water treatment plant, and accommodation facilities. Six manufacturing sheds will be constructed following a sand-filling exercise of the ponds. The project aims to enhance local manufacturing capabilities, reduce import dependencies, and create over 2000 jobs, thereby strengthening the oil and gas value chain in Nigeria.
