Neoen Develops €30M Renewable Energy Projects in Tournissan, France
POWER GRIDS & TRANSMISSIONSOLAR ENERGY
Neoen is developing three projects in Tournissan, France, comprising photovoltaic parks Tournissan 1 and 2, an electricity storage unit of 50 MW, and a high-voltage substation, all valued at €30 million. The initiative aims for a total capacity of 77.5 MW, with full energy transfer to the public electricity distribution network.
A new RTE source station, Les Pontils, is planned, essential for integrating local renewable energy. However, the project faces challenges following an unfavorable report from a public inquiry investigator, with RTE currently reviewing the findings and maintaining dialogue with local stakeholders.
