Nestlé Pakistan Wins OICCI Climate Champion Award for Second Year at Pakistan Climate Conference
Nestlé Pakistan received the OICCI's Climate Champion Award for the second consecutive year at the 4th Pakistan Climate Conference. Federal Minister Dr. Musadik Malik acknowledged the company's initiatives in climate action, regenerative agriculture, and circularity. Nestlé announced an additional USD 60 million investment to support sustainability in Pakistan, totaling USD 100 million planned over six years. The company aims for a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, having already achieved over 50% reduction from 2018 levels.

Nestlé Pakistan was recognized as the top Climate Champion at the 4th Pakistan Climate Conference, held by the OICCI, for its initiatives in climate action, regenerative agriculture, and circularity. Federal Minister Dr.
Musadik Malik emphasized the need for private sector collaboration in climate resilience. Nestlé announced a USD 60 million investment to support sustainability projects, increasing its total planned investment to USD 100 million over six years.
The company aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 and has achieved over 50% reduction since 2018, aided by solar power and biomass projects. Additionally, Nestlé is reducing virgin plastic by 33% and promoting recycling through the Clean Gilgit-Baltistan Project.
