Netherlands Navy Introduces Future Vision for Unmanned Maritime Systems
The Royal Netherlands Navy outlines a strategy for integrating unmanned systems into operations by 2035. This initiative aims to enhance operational safety and efficiency, addressing evolving maritime threats.

The Netherlands Naval Command (CZSK) has unveiled a ten-year vision focused on integrating unmanned systems across its operations. This strategy emphasizes a system-of-systems approach, combining various platforms—airborne, maritime, and underwater—by 2035.
A Taskforce Maritime Uncrewed has been formed to collaborate with technical specialists and industry partners, aiming to innovate based on future operational needs. The upcoming Maritime Uncrewed Sea Trials (MUST) in June will test the integration of these unmanned systems in a coordinated mission. This proactive adaptation is crucial amid rapidly changing maritime security challenges.
