Netherlands Orders Additional Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles from Oshkosh Defense
The Netherlands Ministry of Defence has ordered additional Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV) from Oshkosh Defense, valued between $25 million and $30 million, which includes two training kits for soldiers. This order follows a prior contract for 150 DXPVs and aligns with the country's efforts to modernize its defense capabilities, including recent collaborations with European partners. Concurrently, Oshkosh Defense announced layoffs of 160 workers at its plant due to a significant decline in third-quarter sales.

The Netherlands Ministry of Defence has ordered additional Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV) from Oshkosh Defense, valued between $25 million and $30 million. This purchase includes two training kits for Dutch soldiers.
The order follows a previous contract for 150 DXPVs and is part of the Netherlands' modernization efforts in defense vehicles. Recently, the Netherlands has increased investments in land systems and collaborated with European partners for joint purchases.
In October 2025, a contract was signed with Germany for 270 Boxer armored vehicles. Separately, Oshkosh Defense will lay off 160 workers at its Oshkosh plant due to a $52.8 million decline in third-quarter sales.
