New Cadet Training Centre Opens in Lincolnshire to Enhance Youth Programs
The Beckingham Cadet Training Centre provides dedicated training for up to 150 Cadets, aiming to support a 30% growth in Cadet Forces by 2030. This multi-million-pound facility enhances local youth training capabilities and strengthens recruitment efforts within the Army Cadet Force.
The Beckingham Cadet Training Centre (CTC) has been inaugurated, offering a dedicated site for the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force, capable of accommodating 150 Cadets for training weekends. Officially opened on May 9, 2026, by Jordan Wylie MBE, the facility aims to support the Government's goal of increasing Cadet Forces by 30% by 2030.
The project, funded by the British Army, emphasizes sustainability with materials like timber frames and green roofs. It complements recent investments in Cadet facilities in Bourne and Skegness. The CTC's modern amenities are expected to enhance Cadet experiences and mitigate scheduling conflicts with other users. The initiative underscores the government's commitment to youth development through Cadet programs.
