New VC-25B 'Air Force One' Livery Revealed Ahead of Service
The U.S. Air Force's new VC-25B aircraft has been unveiled, showcasing a bold design prior to its summer delivery. This aircraft, originally a VIP transport for the Qatari Royal Family, signifies a major update to the presidential airlift fleet.

The U.S. Air Force's VC-25B, a modified Boeing 747-8, has revealed its new livery, featuring a stark white upper fuselage and a dark navy blue underbelly, accompanied by a gold and red cheatline and a stylized American flag.
This aircraft is an interim 'Bridge' model, previously built for the Qatari Royal Family, and is scheduled for formal delivery to the 89th Airlift Wing this summer. The new design marks a departure from the traditional baby blue color scheme established over 60 years ago.
The shift to a darker color required engineering adjustments to prevent overheating of sensitive equipment. The VC-25B will enhance presidential transport capabilities until two permanent models arrive in 2028.
