New York Robotics Launches to Unite 160+ Startups in Tri-State Robotics Ecosystem
New York Robotics (NYR) officially launched to consolidate over 160 robotics startups across the Tri-State region, with nearly 100 in New York City. The initiative aims to position New York as a leading global center for robotics, joining established hubs like Boston and Silicon Valley.
NYR has engaged over 450 startups, 80+ corporations, 20+ academic institutions, and more than 300 venture capital firms. Formed in January 2024, NYR seeks to unify the fragmented robotics landscape in New York, leveraging its talent and capital.
NYR is sponsoring the Deep Tech NY conference and has partnered with C10 Labs to develop Applied AI ventures in robotics and advanced manufacturing. Founding partners include J.P. Morgan and New York University, among others. NYR began as a grassroots meetup in 2021 and has evolved into a non-profit focused on economic and workforce development in the robotics sector.
