Newcleo and the European Eagles Consortium have signed a collaboration agreement to construct Leandrea, a fourth-generation nuclear reactor prototype, set for development by 2034 in Belgium. The agreement was finalized in Brussels at the 'Taking the Lead' conference, which is part of the Eagles-300 project. This project seeks to develop a lead-cooled Generation IV small modular reactor (SMR) in Europe by 2039.
