Rizzotti will manage global operations alongside CEO Stefano Buono, while the company aims to advance its advanced lead-cooled fast reactors and mixed-oxide fuel recycling facilities. With €70 million in projected revenue for 2024 and significant private funding, newcleo is focused on expanding its capabilities through strategic acquisitions and partnerships in the nuclear sector.

newcleo has announced the promotion of co-founder Elisabeth Rizzotti to Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Jon Stranske as Group Chief Financial Officer. Rizzotti will oversee global operations and work with CEO Stefano Buono on strategic direction.
These changes coincide with newcleo's efforts to advance its nuclear energy and fuel recycling initiatives. The company is developing advanced lead-cooled fast reactors and recycling facilities for mixed-oxide fuel, aiming to close the nuclear fuel cycle and contribute to clean energy.
With €70 million in revenue in 2024 and €570 million in private funding, newcleo seeks to enhance its capabilities through strategic acquisitions and has established over 100 partnerships in the nuclear sector. The organization employs over 900 staff across France, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, and the UK.
