Sameer Joshi, CEO of NewSpace Research and Technologies, has been appointed as the India Co-Chair of the India-UK Autonomous Platforms and Uncrewed Systems Working Group, announced at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026. This initiative, supported by the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers and the UK India Business Council, aims to connect the defense industries of India and the UK through joint development of advanced systems, deepening manufacturing partnerships, and fostering technological innovation.
