NewSpace Research & Technologies has successfully flight tested its Sheshnag-20 loitering munition, a significant step for India's defense innovation. The system, which was unveiled at the World Defence Show 2026 in Riyadh, features a two-meter wingspan, weighs 20 kilograms, and can carry a five-kilogram payload.

It offers an endurance of approximately one hour and a range of 30 kilometers, achieving speeds of 150 kilometers per hour at altitudes of 6,000 meters. The cannisterized design facilitates logistics and covert operations, enhancing India's self-reliance in defense manufacturing. This success positions NewSpace as a key player in the tactical warfare landscape, with potential applications in various military operations.
