NexMetals Mining Corp. Files 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate for Selkirk Project in Botswana
NexMetals Mining Corp. has filed a technical report supporting the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Selkirk Project, revealing a 70% increase in copper equivalent inventory. This significant resource upgrade positions the project favorably for future mining operations, impacting regional copper-nickel-PGE supply dynamics.

The 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for NexMetals Mining Corp.'s Selkirk Project in Botswana reports an Indicated Mineral Resource of 78.2 million tonnes at 0.66% copper equivalent, with a total of 1.1 billion pounds of copper equivalent. The MRE also includes an Inferred Resource of 15.1 million tonnes at 0.60% CuEq.
This MRE reflects a 70% increase in the project's CuEq inventory due to successful re-assaying and drilling. Data verification involved 216 diamond drillholes, with historical data from Tati Nickel Mining Company included where verifiable.
Utilization of CIM Best Practice Guidelines ensures reliable reporting, and significant mineralization potential remains based on optimized pit-shell analysis. The project's development may enhance regional metal supply and investment interest.
