NexSat Launches ACE: A Fully Integrated Invisible Antenna for Aircraft Connectivity
NexSat Space Systems has launched its first product, ACE, a fully integrated Ku/Ka-band electronically steered antenna. Developed in collaboration with Qorvo, ACE features a conformal design that minimizes aerodynamic drag and provides multi-orbit connectivity for aircraft, including supersonic and hypersonic platforms. The antenna is embedded into aircraft surfaces using advanced manufacturing techniques, eliminating traditional radomes. This innovation aims to enhance connectivity for commercial and defense applications.

NexSat Space Systems Corporation has officially launched and unveiled ACE, an innovative fully integrated Ku/Ka-band electronically steered antenna, developed in collaboration with Qorvo. ACE is designed to minimize aerodynamic drag while offering continuous multi-orbit connectivity across various flight regimes, including supersonic and hypersonic.
Utilizing Qorvo's beamformer IC technologies, the antenna is embedded into aircraft surfaces through a patented 3D robotic manufacturing process, eliminating radomes. This system aims to redefine aerospace communications by providing reliable connectivity for commercial and defense aircraft, as well as unmanned aerial systems.
