NextDecade Chooses Honeywell for LNG Projects in Texas
NextDecade has partnered with Honeywell to implement advanced liquefaction technology for its LNG Train 4 and Train 5 in Texas. This collaboration aims to increase production capacity from 18 MTPA to 30 MTPA by mid-2031, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.

NextDecade will utilize Honeywell's liquefaction technology, including the high-efficiency coil-wound heat exchanger (CWHE) and C3MR process, for its Rio Grande LNG expansion. The project, which includes two additional liquefaction trains, is projected to boost the facility's capacity by over 66% and achieve operational readiness by mid-2031.
Honeywell's modular technology is designed to mitigate risks and shorten construction periods, facilitating earlier operational startup compared to traditional methods. The C3MR process is recognized globally as a leading liquefaction technology, underscoring Honeywell's commitment to optimizing LNG production.
