NHAI to Construct 750-Metre Underpass at Sadahalli Junction in Bengaluru
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will construct a 750-metre, six-lane underpass at Sadahalli junction on Ballari Road to eliminate the last traffic signal leading to Kempegowda International Airport, with a budget of Rs 35 crore. The project will involve traffic diversions for approximately two years and is scheduled to begin in February after previous delays. Additionally, NHAI plans to upgrade infrastructure by laying a 1km-long service road near Yelahanka Air Force Station, costing Rs 70 crore, to improve traffic flow on KIA Road.

Before the diversion, service roads will be widened. Work is set to begin in February after previous delays due to design flaws. Additionally, NHAI is upgrading infrastructure by laying a 1km-long service road near Yelahanka Air Force Station, costing Rs 70 crore. These improvements aim to ensure smooth traffic flow on KIA Road.
