Nigeria to Launch CNG and Electric Vehicles Northern Corridor in Kano

On Thursday, the Federal Government will officially launch the Northern Corridor of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Electric Vehicle (EV) programme in Kano. This initiative, part of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles, aims to facilitate the expansion of CNG and EV infrastructure across Northern Nigeria and promote sustainable transportation alternatives.
Key dignitaries, including Vice President Kashim Shettima and various state governors, are expected to attend. The launch will feature demonstrations of clean mobility technologies and the unveiling of related infrastructure, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to develop Nigeria's clean mobility ecosystem.
