The Nigerian Army and Egyptian Army are enhancing military cooperation through advanced training and intelligence sharing. Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu emphasized the importance of this relationship during a visit from Egyptian Defence Attaché Col.

Both armies plan to deepen collaboration through strategic training programs and joint initiatives, including the upcoming Nigerian Army Day Celebration in July 2026.
