Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Waidi Shaibu has instructed the 4 Special Forces Command to increase operations aimed at defeating terrorists nationwide. This directive was given during his visit to Doma, Nasarawa State, on March 3, 2026.

Shaibu highlighted the importance of intelligence-driven operations and warned that terrorists will not find refuge in Nigeria. He received briefings from key commanders and approved new accommodations and facilities to improve training and welfare. Shaibu also committed to ongoing support for troops and promoted environmental responsibility through tree planting activities.
