Nigerian Army Rescues 14 Kidnapped Victims in Kogi State Operations
The Nigerian Army's 12 Brigade has rescued 14 kidnapped victims in Kogi State during operations against local terrorists. The rescue followed an assault on a terrorist camp in the Adonkolo/Kakanda Forest, where troops recovered weapons and documents. One rescued victim was a soldier abducted while traveling. Troops also engaged fleeing terrorists in follow-up ambushes and rescued additional victims from another kidnapping incident along the Okene-Onyukoko road.

Among the rescued was a soldier who had been abducted. Follow-up operations included ambushing fleeing terrorists and rescuing seven more victims from a separate incident along the Okene-Onyukoko road, highlighting the Army's commitment to counter-terrorism efforts in the region.
