Troops from the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army arrested two suspects and recovered four AK-47 rifles during an operation in Ogidigben Community, Warri South West Local Council. This action followed reports of gunfire and was executed based on credible intelligence.
Additional recoveries included six magazines, 106 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, two knives, 10 machetes, and four pairs of rain boots. The suspects remain in custody for further investigation into their affiliations with broader criminal activities. The Brigade Commander emphasized a need for intensified security measures across Delta State to address ongoing violence and illegal arms proliferation.
