Nigerian Navy and NIMASA Enhance Collaboration for Maritime Safety
The Nigerian Navy has called for enhanced collaboration with the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to improve navigational safety through hydrography. Rear Admiral Abdullahi Mustapha highlighted the integration of NIMASA's C4i Centre with the Navy's Falcon Eye system and the acquisition of two hydrographic vessels for wreck removal. Both agencies emphasized their commitment to ensuring maritime security, which is vital for supporting President Bola Tinubu's economic diversification agenda and boosting investor confidence.
