Nine Proposals Submitted for Cooking Gas Bottling Plant in Guyana
Nine proposals have been submitted to construct a cooking gas bottling plant in Guyana, involving Guygas in partnership with Denmark's Makeen Energy and India's RAMCO Industries. Other bidders include Massy Gas Products, SOL Guyana Inc, RUBIS Guyana Inc, and LINDSAYCA from Houston, Texas, which is also working on a natural gas-fired power plant at Wales, West Bank Demerara.
Additionally, Divyan International Inc and a joint venture of Gate Ventures, Consulting Guyana Inc, Canada’s Propak Systems, and Makeen Energy are interested. Colombia's Gas Zipa SASESP is collaborating with Fix It Depot and Standard Energy Company, while India's ILF Consulting Engineering is working with Mahatma Phule Renewable and Infrastructure Technology Limited. The plant is anticipated to bottle 63 million gallons of cooking fuel annually.
