NNPC Reports March 2026 Performance with Increased Production and Revenue
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) reported a revenue of ₦2.774 trillion and a profit after tax of ₦276 billion for March 2026, reflecting enhanced production metrics. Crude oil and condensate output rose to 1.56 million barrels per day, alongside natural gas production of 7,731 million standard cubic feet per day, indicating a significant operational recovery and reinforcing Nigeria's energy strategy.

In March 2026, NNPC Ltd. achieved a profit after tax of ₦276 billion, a 102.94% increase from February. Revenue reached ₦2.774 trillion, marking a 3.51% rise. Crude oil and condensate production improved to 1.56 million barrels per day, while natural gas production hit 7,731 million standard cubic feet per day, the highest in a year.
Statutory payments from January to March totaled ₦2.888 trillion. Key operational milestones included the early completion of the OML 118 Bonga Turnaround Maintenance and progress on the AKK and OB3 gas pipelines.
Despite these gains, pipeline disruptions impacted sales, which fell to 17.27 million barrels. Continuous investment in infrastructure is crucial for maintaining production stability.
