NOCC Orders Fourth LNG Dual-Fuel Car Carrier from CIMC Raffles in China
Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC) has ordered a fourth 7,000-ceu LNG dual-fuel vessel from CIMC Raffles in China, furthering its fleet renewal strategy. This new addition, which will operate on liquefied natural gas and conventional fuel, aligns with NOCC's commitment to reducing emissions and complying with international environmental regulations. With this order, NOCC's fleet expansion accelerates to a total of four operational vessels, with three more set for delivery between 2026 and 2027.

Norwegian Car Carriers (NOCC) has placed an order for a fourth 7,000-ceu LNG dual-fuel vessel at CIMC Raffles in China, enhancing its fleet renewal strategy. The contract was finalized in late 2025, adding to three similar vessels already ordered.
The new vessel will operate on liquefied natural gas and conventional fuel, aligning with NOCC's goals to reduce emissions and meet international environmental regulations. CIMC Raffles has started delivering vessels under this program, having recently handed over NOCC Pacific, the first PCTC built for NOCC.
With this order, NOCC's fleet expansion accelerates, increasing its total to four operational vessels, with three more scheduled for delivery between 2026 and 2027. NOCC is advised by JP Morgan and was fully owned by the financial group as of 2023.
