Nonsan City is implementing its 'Three Future Growth Strategies' focusing on the national defense and military industries, agricultural globalization, and tourism development. Mayor Baek Seong-hyeon, at a press conference on the 20th, emphasized a results-oriented administration aimed at enhancing Nonsan's value, increasing citizens' income and happiness, and creating quality jobs.

This year marks the initiation of the National Defense Industrial Complex construction and the operational launch of the Robot Integrated Performance Test Site. The city is also preparing for the 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo and aims to diversify agricultural exports through a co-hosted Agricultural and Food Overseas Expo with Indonesia.

Additionally, tourism infrastructure projects around Tapjeongho Lake are advancing, with construction expected to begin in 2027. A disaster prevention project worth 305.2 billion won will also be launched to address climate risks.
