Norfolk International Airport (ORF) unveiled its International Flight Arrival Center on February 18, part of a $1 billion upgrade. The facility is set to open next week to process travelers from international flights.

This new U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrivals facility supports the airport's goal to attract more international airlines, coinciding with Breeze Airways' recent launch of nonstop service to Cancun.

The service, available on Saturdays with an additional day starting May 6, marks the first international flights since the early 2000s. U.S. Rep. Jen Kiggans emphasized the terminal's importance to the region's military and defense industry.
