Norfolk Power Equipment, a machinery and power tool vendor with 50 years of experience, plans to open a new location in Swansea. The 10,040-square-foot retail space will be situated at 2755 Grand Army of the Republic Highway, near the Rehoboth town line.

The project has received approval from the town's Conservation Commission and will adhere to Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater Standards and local Wetlands Protection by-laws. The property, purchased by the Noons in 2010 for $160,000, will feature a parking lot and will comply with setbacks from adjacent wetlands. The timeline for construction is currently unspecified.
