Nortal's STRATUS Project Secures Funding from European Defense Fund
The STRATUS project, led by Nortal, has received funding aimed at developing AI-based cybersecurity architecture for autonomous systems. This initiative addresses the operational challenges faced by drones and unmanned vehicles in disrupted communication environments.

Nortal's STRATUS project has been awarded funding from the European Defense Fund to enhance the cybersecurity of autonomous systems, including drones and unmanned vehicles. The initiative focuses on creating a multi-layered architecture designed to protect these systems against disruptions in radio communications and GPS signals.
The project involves 13 partners across Europe, coordinated by Talgen Cybersecurity, a Nortal subsidiary. Additionally, a Ukrainian subcontractor will contribute insights from real combat experience, ensuring that the development aligns with contemporary threats. This collaboration illustrates the increasing complexity of defense systems, emphasizing the need for resilience across interconnected networks.
