The North Ridgeville City Council has approved an amendment raising the design services cost for the Mills Creek Conservation and Flood Control Project from $507,500 to $665,200, citing complications from a high-pressure gas line and necessary federal permits. The project, which aims to mitigate flooding and create a park, requires redesign efforts mandated by FirstEnergy and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. An emergency clause was also approved to ensure work proceeds without interruption.
