NOVAGOLD and Paulson Award Engineering Contracts to WSP, Worley, and Hatch for Donlin Gold Project Feasibility Study
NOVAGOLD and Donlin Gold Holdings have awarded engineering contracts to WSP, Worley, and Hatch for key infrastructure in the Donlin Gold project's Bankable Feasibility Study update. WSP will design a dual-fired power generation facility, Worley will design a 316-mile natural gas pipeline, and Hatch will create the pressure oxidation circuit and oxygen plant. Fluor Corporation will lead and integrate all workstreams. The project is expected to yield approximately 40 million ounces of gold.

NOVAGOLD and Donlin Gold Holdings awarded contracts to WSP, Worley, and Hatch for the Donlin Gold project's Bankable Feasibility Study. WSP will design a dual-fired power generation facility with about 215 MW capacity.
Worley will design a 316-mile natural gas pipeline from Cook Inlet to the power plant. Hatch is tasked with designing the pressure oxidation circuit and oxygen plant for treating refractory gold ore. Fluor Corporation will coordinate and integrate all workstreams. The project holds approximately 40 million ounces of gold and aims for completion of the engineering framework by 2027.
