NSWCPD Awards First Other Transaction Agreement for Maritime Sustainment Technology
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has awarded its inaugural Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) to Advanced Technology International (ATI) on June 4, 2021. This agreement establishes the Maritime Sustainment Technology Innovation Consortium, aimed at fostering collaboration between defense contractors, academia, and civil maritime sectors to enhance maritime sustainment technologies.

The NSWCPD's OTA with ATI focuses on creating the Maritime Sustainment Technology Innovation Consortium (MSTIC), which will facilitate innovative prototyping projects across various technology areas, including cyber and logistics. The Consortium will engage both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors, as well as academic institutions, enhancing networking opportunities for stakeholders involved in maritime technologies.
The inclusion of diverse members aims to provide early feedback on evolving technologies and support partnerships between small innovators and large system integrators. This initiative is expected to improve mission effectiveness and fleet support significantly.
