Nuclearelectrica and Valahia University Launch Master's in Nuclear Technologies
Nuclearelectrica and Valahia University have introduced a master's programme in 'Advanced Technologies for the Nuclear Industry' set to commence in the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative aims to cultivate specialists in advanced nuclear technologies, aligning with Romania's strategic goals in the nuclear sector.

Nuclearelectrica and Valahia University of Targoviste have established a master's programme in 'Advanced Technologies for the Nuclear Industry,' set for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering 120 transferable credits taught in English. This programme is aimed at developing experts in advanced nuclear technologies, particularly small modular reactors, to support the implementation and operation of these technologies in Romania.
The initiative responds to the need for skilled personnel in the nuclear sector, reinforcing Nuclearelectrica's commitment to human resources as part of its investment strategy. The collaboration reflects broader trends in educational partnerships, with Nuclearelectrica having established ties with ten universities nationwide. The programme is designed to enhance expertise beyond undergraduate levels, addressing the nuclear industry's critical demand for qualified professionals.
