NUNC Capital Acquires Stake in AnGard Microwave to Enhance High-Power Microwave Technology
NUNC Capital has acquired a minority stake in AnGard Microwave to bolster the development of High-Power Microwave technology for defense applications, joining existing investors TNO and the University of Twente. This partnership aims to enhance defense capabilities against emerging threats, particularly from weaponized robotic systems, and responds to urgent operational needs in the current security landscape. AnGard plans to implement directed energy systems to protect critical infrastructure across Europe.

NUNC Capital acquired a minority stake in AnGard Microwave during its seed round to support growth in High-Power Microwave technology for defense applications. This partnership includes existing shareholders TNO and the University of Twente.
NUNC aims to build defense capacity with operationally relevant technologies. The investment follows NUNC's previous experience in High-Power Microwave systems between 2015 and 2018. AnGard seeks to deploy directed energy systems to protect critical infrastructures across Europe from weaponized robotic threats. The collaboration aims to address urgent operational needs in defense and security, driven by current conflicts and the rise of unmanned systems.
