Oba of Benin Appoints Retired Major Obazee as Community Head of Evbonede Village
The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, appointed Pa Friday Uwadiae Obazee, a retired Major, as the new Odionwere of Evbonede village in Edo state. Obazee pledged loyalty to the Oba and aims to promote development and peace in the community. The appointment was communicated to village elders, leading to the peaceful installation rites at the village's elders' chamber, which included traditional prayers and customary rituals.

The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has appointed Pa Friday Uwadiae Obazee, a retired Major of the Nigerian Army, as the new Odionwere of Evbonede village in Edo state. Obazee expressed gratitude for the appointment and committed to fostering development and peace in the community.
