Oerlikon AM is increasing its production of end-of-barrel suppressors for firearms using ATLIX technology. As of June 2025, Oerlikon had produced over 25,000 suppressors with MetcoAdd nickel powder on ATLIX TruPrint Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion machines.

The company has doubled its TruPrint machine fleet, positioning itself as a major contract manufacturer in North America. Oerlikon plans to install a TruPrint 5000 machine in Charlotte, North Carolina, to further boost suppressor manufacturing capacity due to growing demand, especially in the defense sector.
